Update of sorts

The weekly update isn't that much of an update really. I had a call from Michael Morgan's PA in Sydney during the week while I was in Adelaide for a couple of chamber music concerts. She was just trying to make sure that she was gathering all available scans etc to send to Mike Link at Mayo. I told her we only had historic stuff on a couple of CDs at home up to last December and that all the radiosurgery history from 8 years ago in Melbourne had finally been sent to John Fuller at the gamma knife unit in Sydney. Michael is currently in Vietnam so she was going to run the collection past David, one of Michael's neurosurgery fellows (the Swiss amigo) and then send the whole lot to Mike Link. Anyway, hopefully that means that he will be ale to make some sort of evaluation some time soon.

Meanwhile, Rosie is getting bored with not having a daily structure like school. We have an appointment with a disability employment service on Friday next week - Centrelink referred us to them in the hope that they will be able to suss out something useful to occupy Rosie's time, whether paid or unpaid. She has her rehab OT and Physio appointments two days a week and we both do Pilates twice a week but there's lots of time left for some useful occupation. She had an appointment with Bill, the speech therapist in Pittsburgh, on Wednesday night while I was away and we will have one tonight.
