Bouncing back

Rosie has bounced straight back into normal life and hasn't had any headaches for several days amazing everybody who expects that one should be a bit more debilitated after having one's brain interfered with. Last Saturday she went to tennis as usual and on Sunday we bought her new rollerblades and visited Briar's family. Michael McNabb, Briar's 13-yr-old son, is a keen drummer and gave Rosie and Sophie a go on his kit.

Kasi and her husband Raymond are visiting from Auckland for a couple of weeks (in case Rosie had needed some home convalescence with Wilma and Peter working) and Eleanor has been in and out more than usual.

Sophie wanted to perform her new cello pieces for the family who obligingly showed up.

Jessye had a performance at Lauriston, the Grade 5 - 8 performance showcase, in which she sang with the choir and played in the Middle School string quartet. The whole household went and Rosie got a lot of knitting done.

Fred and Barney are back to normal and will have their stitches out today.
