Lazy long weekend

Since we got home, Rosie and I have both been enjoying a fairly slothful time. In Rosie's case, that involves the luxury of getting up whenever she feels like in the morning. The dogs have enjoyed the luxury of her letting them sleep with her - nobody else will have them.

Sophie got back home from rowing camp on Friday night and has been fitting right in with the prevailing mood. This was her with Rosie "watching" the tennis last night.

We've managed to keep up some speech/reading homework and Peter spent time with Rosie on it yesterday. It's good for her to have someone other than me doing stuff with her after the saturation of mother time during the last three weeks. Rosie with Fred and Peter with Barney have just headed out to the park for a walk - there wasn't a lot of exercise yesterday...

It was good to see Rosie back in the kitchen this morning for the first time in three weeks. She made herself French toast for breakfast, a perennial favourite.
