Mosaic day

It was mosaic day at school again and while Wilma cut more bits off tiles Rosie started to glue.

Sophie hung out with her group of urchins under a tree.

I suppose after only two days it may be too soon to call pies the new sushi but Rosie made short work of two for lunch and requested a third. Wilma said no.

After lunch was special maths and when the other six went back to join the rest of their class Rosie wanted to stay for a bit more. Then it was on to ensemble which consists of a motley crue of xylophones, drums, guitar, keyboards, saxophone and two violins. Actually, it didn't sound too bad in the end and got Rosie playing her violin again.

The day was capped off with piano lessons for all three with the non-participants at any time playing Skip Bo.

Hi guys

love all the photos and stories !

Grandma Chris and Grandad Grant say hello from Waikanae Beach where they are wiling away time catching waves and working on their tans. Nat and Coco are looking forward to catching the train up there tomorrow night for a 2 sleep sojourn. (Jenny thinks its better than a poke in the eye.)

We will all be thinking of you today, best of luck with the visit to Wirginia.

Love you heaps

That is so great that you're playing the violin again Rosie! That deserves at least two pies -or a lot of sushi -and maybe some more of that amazing ice cream...Love, Vicki.x
