Indian Summer

Two weeks ago tonight the family was in the Emergency department at the hospital. Now we have the opportunity to enjoy Melbourne's Indian Summer, a Rosie who seems two years older than she was before, and a new perspective on life.

The important event today was Jessye's homecoming after five days at school camp. As if to underline the event, the tooth Rosie's been wiggling at for the last several months finally came out in her hand as she and Wilma waited in the car for Jessye's bus to arrive. Jessye was pleased to see us but was more interested in Rosie's new fringe.

On the medical front Rosie has a followup appointment with Wirginia Maixner at Children's Hospital on March 10 and another MRI on March 16.

Hi Rosie, here we are at Coco's house in Wellington. We are checking on your website everyday and cheer when we see all the things you are doing, goodness you and your mum do have busy days. We wish we could be in on all those cafe visits with you. We hope you are getting stronger everyday with all that sushi and icecream inside you. Today we have been down on the cable car to see the dragon boat festival, great excitment from the crowds, sitting in the sun watching the races. Then we went to a cafe and Coco (who is helping me write this)had chips and a chocolate milkshake. Nat had the same. Jenny, G'dad and G'ma had something nutritious and wholesome. (Yay) G'ma is on a diet; no cake, biscuits or (sob, sob) cheese. G'ma is not good at this.

Love from us all at Salamanca Rd - G'ma, G'dad, Nat, Coco and Jenny x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x xo x
