Sea treats

David popped in late morning with roses and chocolates.

Then Merlyne came with lunch and what a lunch! She'd been to the legendary Sydney Fish Market after taking our sushi orders last night. The sushi was just the beginning, though. We laid out a feast from the sea...

Sashimi, sushi, oysters, prawns, salad, guacamole and cherries. We ate and ate and ate till we couldn't anymore.

The girls went up to the room and Merlyne, David and I caught up on some of our mutual rellies. We were still sitting around when Jo, Sandro, Sarah and Sofia came to visit. Merle and David left and the Costantinos came up to see the girls. More often than not during the day, the wrong daughter is in the patient's bed, confusing nurses and visitors alike. Sarah brought some cannoli she had made herself - very tasty.
